What Did Students Do?
Students watched videos and listened to/read stories about Terry Fox. They shared facts and information they already knew and discussed new things they learned. Students wrote a paragraph on what they knew about Terry Fox and connected it back to The Magical Yet. They then created some shoe art work with positive self talk messages (His Magical Yet) that Terry Fox used to keep pushing forward. On Friday, students participated in The Terry Fox run. A special thank you to all grade five students who helped Mr. Newman with our 2024 Terry Fox run!
